This is just too cool: This Spartan Life is basically a talk show recorded inside of Halo 2 on Xbox Live. There’s only one episode so far, but it’s amazing. The interviews with the two guests are entertaining on their own, but the way the entire thing is packaged up is nearly perfect. There are at least two “cameras”, recording the host and guest from different perspectives as they roam around the Halo landscape, discussing a range of topics and avoiding sniper fire. The whole thing is amazingly well written and edited.

I’d love to see future episodes show up in the iTunes Music Store’s podcast listing. Heck, I’d even be willing to pay a buck or two per episode. This is one of the most entertaining bits of amateur video work that I’ve ever seen.
